?ÿI climbed a ladder to the top of a container left on the site on the east end of St. John to get this 230 degree panorama. Left to right is Tortola, Scrub Is, Beef Is. Virgin Gorda, Fallen Jaruselem, Cooper Is. Peter Is. Pelican Is. Norman Is. Flannagan Is. and a few minor cays.?ÿ St. Croix is barely visible on the right through the haze.?ÿ?ÿ
I would gladly trade you job locations in snowy Montana, just for a week to ten days. ?????ÿ
I'd do it in a heartbeat if we could. Neither of us would get anything done though.?ÿ

Oh I'd get something done ...... but it wouldn't be work.?ÿ My wife would love to live in a place like that.?ÿ She told me that ONCE in her lifetime she wants to stay on the beach long enough to get bored.?ÿ I don't know how long that would be but I do know that it is longer than 3 weeks.

You Northerners would get bored while waiting for the daily temperatures to make a significant change.?ÿ That's what happened to me in the years spent living a half mile from Lake Michigan.

I think for me that would be less than 3 hours.
I would need a thick layer of high SPF suncreen about 1/4" deep over any exposed skin at all times plus a large tent over me.
Two very beautiful photos!?ÿ
I enjoy the snow but only for a visit. I could spend the rest of my days on a beach or in a beach town. Recently decided that if I needed to move out of Austin, I would probably choose Corpus Christi as my next destination.

Would love to be back at Loblolly right now. How is the area since the big storms?
Has it been put back together. I was there in the spring of 2017, so all was good then.?ÿ

It's going to be between just above freezing, to just below 45f, here in Puyallup, all day long, until April...
I used to go down to Tortola every year, but between Irma and Covid, we haven't been down in years.?ÿ Need to get back soon?ÿ?ÿ

I haven't been to Anegada for at least 30 years.
Keep in mind, those hills that look like chia pets - that's mostly thorn bushes covered with thorny vines on a median slope of 40%

That photo is so wide that you can see the geoid if you zoom in a bit. :-p?ÿ
