I am a licensed surveyor in the state of Kentucky. I basically grew up in the profession, starting as soon as I was old enough for my dad (who is also a surveyor) to drag me out into the field. Through the course of the 25 years that I have been in the business full time, I have developed a love for programming, specifically writing lisp programs to run on top of CAD. Recently, I have been working on a lisp based application for surveyors that runs on top of BricsCAD. I am targeting a subset of land surveyors who have a need for an easy to use, lightweight, cost effective CAD system to import their data and produce a finished plat. As I approach the end of development I will be turning to this forum to get input from you to ensure that I include the features that my potential users want.
Thanks,
Kevin
