Found this in a hotel parking lot near Savannah. Looks like the Spelling Police have their work cut out for them.
Well if you were in South Carolina, I would suspect that it might have something to do with a former Senator.
😉
There was a Strom foundry in Indiana at one time.
Well, wouldn't be as easy to steal as this, which was only up for a few days before somebody wanted the memento badly enough.

I don't have the photos, but a couple of recent classics I've seen are:
On a road sign: "Men Working Aheard"
On a sign advertising free scrap wood: "Free Pellets"
That's Mort's manhole - he's dyslexic.
A billboard I saw recently: Killed? Injured? Call (ambulance chaser)
Me. "What's the difference?"
T.C. Carroll "It's the difference between right and wrong!"
EEEwwwwww...
I know Owen. I don't want anything he's had in him, warmed or otherwise.
This one got some media attention in Los Angeles. The paint markings were in Chino Hills, a neighboring city to where I live (in Chino, CA).

Kicking myself for not taking a picture of a concrete block shack where the wheel loader guys at the local limestone quarry take their breaks. Over the door on a big piece of crooked plywood they spray painted "LUNG ."

There??s that old tale about the punter who goes into a fast food joint and orders a double-hamburger and a hot-dog. The waiter says ??the electricity is off so we can't run the oven but all our meat is precooked so the chef can warm the patties under his armpits? and the punter says ??that??s fine, but cancel the hot-dog?.
One of the local TV Stations has a weekend crew with a real spelling problem. I usually back it up and take a picture when this happens.
Some of the recent ones:
XXXXX XXXXXX DEAD AT 69
PASSES AWAY FROM LIVE CANCER
DEMONSTRATORS MARCH
NEAR TRUMP'S FLORIDA
ESTRATE
MEXICO EXTRADITES TWO MEN
BOTH INVOLVED IN RUG TRAFFICKING IN US
Man shot in alley.
My question: Where on the body is the part referred to as the alley?
Been passing this on the way to/from the office for the last couple weeks. And while not a spelling error, it seems appropriate here.

I live in a town that has a college, Western Illinois University. A few years ago they played a game with new shirts and Illinois was spelled Illinios. Nobody noticed but some fans did. They only wore them once because the local paper and news showed pics.
My favorite. He had to show this on national TV. So much for higher education at the University of Georgia.

haha!
We have a very top-notch, professionally made reflective sign on a light pole that reads "STREET LIGHT NOT WORKING". I presume its a risk management issue, but come on!
