Is the BLM's GLO records site not working for anyone ( https://glorecords.blm.gov)? I can no longer get plats off it (using the same browser I always used before) and now it just says "400 Error: Bad Request" whenever I try to get an image. Is it just a problem on my end, or theirs?

It has been a month or so since my last use of the site. Everything worked well at that time.

I just went there via your link and pulled up a local Pat Deed. No prob. I suggest clearing your browser caches and history. 5 bucks says that will work.

I just attempted to download or view a plat image and it gave me the same error it gave you. Then I tried to download or view a patent, no trouble with that. I think it's on their end.

I haven't had any luck downloading plats for sometime. Field notes sometimes and not the full volume.

I've cleared history and cache and it didn't help.

The search page has been getting worse for the last 6 months. Not sure what is going on. I suspect they are migrating to a map based search for surveys and records. Just a hunch.

Did you try a plat image? That's what I'm trying to get to.

I was just there today and also received errors and could not download the pdf file. Tested with two other staff with the same results.

It is on GLO's end. I believe they are replacing servers and doing some maintenance/upgrades.

If you need records contact the BLM/Cadastral office in your state and they should be able to get you what is needed. Here in Idaho it does take some time as we have to go through the entire volumes of FNs to extract the pertinent info. Plats are much easier of course.

I've had trouble for about a month or so. Even though the plat image may not appear as usual. I've had decent luck if you click through the error 404 msg and attempt to download to pdf as usual. Sometimes it may take the second or third try for the download to happen. As mentioned last week I couldn't see the plat but download worked, right now it's struggling.

I have access to a bunch of California if that helps.

It appears today that the website has gone completely offline. It makes research hard! I have put in a call to the BLM but no one has called back.

The site is currently back to the point you can view plats, still unable to generate a pdf for download.

I was having problems last week getting the plats as pdf but was still able to download the jp2 image.

It was a pain to convert the jp2 to pdf but at least I was able to keep working.

Tried this morning. Can't get a PDF or a JP2. Just get the perpetually spinning blocks and then eventually a message about an unknown error occurring.

Anyone know who the contact person is or if anyone at BLM is actually working on a fix?
