First off I would like to clarify that any reports of my demise are exaggerated...but not by much.?ÿ A couple of semi-emergency coronary surgeries in the last three weeks (still one to go) have left me but a shadow of my formal self.?ÿ My body has a way of reminding me exactly how old I am getting...notwithstanding what?ÿmy brain says.
The first surgery was a kick in the groin.?ÿ But it was also a cake walk compared to the second one.?ÿ I developed anaphylaxis from the anesthesia and almost slipped on through to the other side.?ÿ I've got a pancake size hematoma (that's doc-talk for a bruise) dead-center of my chest and I feel like I've been in a car wreck.?ÿ?ÿTottering around with a cane isn't natural for me but I am making it.
Just wanted everybody to know I'm still here but not kicking very hard.?ÿ It's going to take some a while to get my spit back...but I'm up for it.
