8.25% on boundary related surveys
0 for topographic/construction surveys
VA, WV - nothing. MD - I think nothing, but I haven't done a survey there in a long time.

No sales tax on services in Florida.

Many years ago (perhaps 20 years or so) Florida passed a law requiring professional services companies to collect sales tax on services (included surveyors), but after a few months the law was repealed.
Not in Maine, but it's been under discussion in the State legislature for years.
Not in Kansas.
Not in New York, but don't give them any ideas.
None in (the other) Washington.
They came close in NC within the past couple. Didn't take with surveying or engineering services.
