62 years and counting
first survey was 41 years ago on an as-built for a sewer job....I just new that first day that I had to be the guy on the instrument, not the guy fetching stuff from the truck...

Was the system on line?
As builts of live sewer systems is the Hell of surveying. Did one system, it was the first and last! B-)

Odometer is rolling over to 50. Started when I was 14 and took a long break to try on as many hats as I could before returning to what I enjoyed the most.

ps For you youngsters: Getting old is not a gradual decline. It hits faster than you could imagine.
