I'm 44 and my father is 76. We just renewed our licenses.
I'm 62, been in the profession 43 (although I spent 5 summers prior in the field with Dad)
Odometer is rolling over to 50. Started when I was 14 and took a long break to try on as many hats as I could before returning to what I enjoyed the most.
Not quiet 75, and I'm starting to feel it after 52 years surveying.
ps For you youngsters: Getting old is not a gradual decline. It hits faster than you could imagine.
50. Been in and out of the profession my entire life.
