Not quite, but I live in a subdivision in central Austin that was developed by a longtime GLO commissioner on his family homestead, and for which he ended up going to prison due, in part, to nefarious transactions with Mexican concrete suppliers back in the 40s. The only house on the block that wasn't built out of concrete blocks is about 3 houses down from mine, and was where his "secretary" lived.

Funny thing though, one report says he is happy and "teaching" other inmates. I wonder what in the hell they teach each other behind bars? Maybe "Chicago Kickback History: 1900 - Present." 😉

All my licenses are signed by chairs and secretaries.

It's particularly galling that this type has to be fed with the hard earned wages of those who obey the law.

Wierd, I'm licensed in Illinois and I don't think our good friend Rod B. ever signed my license. You must have paid extra for his autograph.

I'm talking about the original certificate, not the license that is issued every time you renew.
