One of these days I will have one of those Javads in my hands to see what all the hype is about. I am looking forward to this fall when I will be working with one of these . GNSS has made the game change for sure. Nice picture. ?ÿ
@half bubble
What is that in the top of the pic?

That's a guardrail for a raised path over the swamp. The picture is sideways looking up.
without a DC how do you activate it to grab the shot? Is it voice activated?
The LS-Plus is its own data collector. The "go" button is top right of the touch screen, and with a 2.05 meter rod height I can reach it on tippy toes when wearing the right boots. Might need a stylus extender. It's worth the climb, the positions are better with the 2m rod.
Awesome picture.?ÿ All of you crazy people that are working without a Javad unit are working too hard.

This is the new frontier, not only being able to monitor the LS-Plus on a 2m rod without binoculars from across the street, but also the ability to talk to the T3 base on top of the chariot.

Ahh, so that's only 2M up, I thought it was 10 feet in the air or something, you can still reach up to push the button. I still say it's awful steampunk looking. ?????ÿ

I've very much appreciated the JERCI app.?ÿ On a recent job I had to run the rover up to 8 feet to get above a chain link fence.?ÿ The rover was getting corrections from the base via WiFi to my phone, while I was controlling the rover with the app on the phone, and going through email on the phone while the session was in progress.
@mightymoe Alternatively, you can set it up so it's on a delay - after you tell it to start shooting, it won't do anything for 30 seconds (or whatever time you want), giving you plenty of time to plumb it up first before the shot starts.
Man, I miss that Javad unit I had - it was so much fun to use.
@allen-wrench But how do you know when it's done? Turn on option to flash bottom light to let you know.
