I use hoof maker if I need to have it clean up quickly, and bag balm if I have an opportunity to set for a bit and let it work... Anything else out there that's working for you?

When I played sports a locker room can be the most nasty or cleanest place and it was always a battle against athlete's feet or tinea pedis (fungal infection) atopic dermatitis or staph. There is always that one guy that is always working out every waking moment that attracts and leaves around the most crud from his old gear that should have been burned long ago.
Later in life working day after day in the same old footwear, I found it took a major change to get rid of swamp foot and cracked hands.
Changed the style of what gloves and socks I was wearing and wash them daily without letting them sitting around to stale and adding 12oz of hydrogen peroxide to each warm water wash.
When my gloves and boots got funky I would wash them the same as my clothes.
Can wash leather, just have to let them dry completely and oil them with some real good boot oil like Red Wing or Hubbard's Shoe Grease. If you work in bayou and water areas them getting wet can be good or bad. They can collect funk that will transfer to you or it will sink in to leather that is not oiled and stay to keep the funk affecting your skin over and over.
Started wearing the half finger man made materials that could be washed.
I changed from cotton socks to the soccer and lacrosse style that wick moisture away from my feet. TCK Sports Elite Performance Digital Camo Crew Socks are my favorite. MOJO compression and performance socks are great for cramping calfs.
My dry and cracked skin began to heal.
I like Gold Bond "Medicated" and "Men's Formula".
Years of concrete work has taken it's toll. Petroleum jelly is the only thing that works for me. It's messy at first, but once it penetrates nothing lasts longer or is more effective for me. It helps keep my hands a little warmer as well.

A mixture of lanolin and olive oil, with some BHT added to preserve freshness. Works quite well.

Every winter my hands and fingers split open down to the meat and hurt like hell. The only thing (and I've tried a lot) I've ever found that works for me is Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Hand Cream
I've used just about everything over the years but my go to is Carmex, the lip balm. I buy them by case and have tubes of the stuff all over the place in winter when the air gets popcorn fart dry with the cold. Works pretty good on dry cracked lips as well.

My wife sell Mary Kay products and had me try the Satin Hands. Put a dime size dab on one hand and rub in for a minute. Its non greasy and really works. I use it in the morning and evening and no longer have chapped or cracked skin.
I have found using something regularly may be more important than what you use.?ÿ My dermatologist suggested crazy glue for cracked and split fingers.?ÿ While it works, cream and gloves in the cold are a much better option.
