Link is 0.40' long, center to center.
Link is 0.18' wide, center to center.
Metal diameter is 3/4".
It is driven solidly into the ground.

So if it was off from calculated by N 0.10 and E 0.12, you would still have to accept the monument as you would not be able to set a new one since you would still be on the old one.

That is a giant ground sloth stake set by a prehistoric American during the age of the giant fauna.
I haven't gone and gotten the Weyco corner card for it. I may have to, but not yet.

Follow where it's pointing and you might find a well casing. It may have been cut-off and buried.
Might also be where someone staked out their Garthok.....
