Sunny.?ÿ High of 63 with a low of 41.?ÿ 16 MPH breeze from the south.
Not a whole lot different from HC in SE Kansas, here in Eastern Iowa:
Mostly cloudy, with a high near 56. South wind around 5 mph. Night low around 39.
Christmas Day: A 40 percent chance of showers, mainly before 4pm. Cloudy, with a high near 50. East southeast wind 6 to 9 mph becoming north northeast in the afternoon. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
In central NC low of 37?ø and a high of 58?ø with a 10% chance of rain.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,
Ed
70 degrees and sunny! I can't believe it - there will most definitely be some football being played in the back yard.
It's like a Tampa Christmas, which I thought wouldn't come until retirement.
Going to our condo at beach with new metal detector Santa Claus brung me!
Gonna get rich! Think Mel Fisher. ???? ?ÿ

So, in other words, the guy down at the Circle K oughta stock up on newports, keystone, and scratch-off tickets, and expect you to roll up in your Parrothead shirt and Dale Jr. hat when?

you know as well as i do that getting rich off of beach finds around there doesn't ever involve?ÿmetal?ÿobjects.
nobody got you a bale detector?
Puyallup should have a high of 45 and a low of 30, mostly cloudy with a 23% chance of rain?ÿ
Just another typical day in the life of a surveyor...
slight chance of snow, High -12F, low -20F
Much the same for Portland. Mid 40's, cloudy with periods of light rain. Maybe a sunny break or two. Just like always this time of year. Life is good.
Central Ohio:
You find a washed up bale or a kg of coke you will be on YouTube in 45 seconds, and grt a visit from the PO-lease in 50. Where I plan to go, about a mile South of us, is a 600 unit Condominium not on the beach so they have a private walkway to the beach where they all congregate. You can find gold hoop earrings all day long in the water or on the beach but they're mostly gold plated. Also weed that has been exposed to salt water is no good. I know. 😈
High 27?øF, Low 10?øF, Cloudy, 50% chance of snow.

Sunny.?ÿ High of 63 with a low of 41.?ÿ 16 MPH breeze from the south.
Nearly the same here a hundred and fifty miles south of you.?ÿ ?ÿBut the weather can turn quickly on the prairie as we all know.?ÿ
I recollect Christmas Day 1977.?ÿ I was putting on the feed bag for a trailer house full of folks and had to open the doors and windows because it got too warm in the house.?ÿ The high that sunny day was in the sixties.?ÿ I put the kids out on the patio (in shorts and t-shirts) to play with their Christmas toys.
The day after New Years 1978 it was a warm and cloudy morning with a chance of rain as I drove to work before sunup.?ÿ The other party chief's van had a dead battery so I left the office to go give him a jump.?ÿ What should have been a 15 minute drive took me two hours.?ÿ It started snowing when I left and by mid-morning we had 4 or 5 inches of snow and it was still coming down with...with a strong north wind and dropping temps.?ÿ The snow fell for a week straight.
It snowed nearly thirty inches from January through March that year and every bit of it stayed on the ground.?ÿ I nearly starved to death with only 10 hours the entire month of February.?ÿ And starving wasn't ever really far off when you're running a crew making 3 bucks an hour.
A warm Christmas can definitely turn on dime weather wise.?ÿ Anybody else remember the winter of '77-'78??ÿ ?ÿ
I recollect Christmas Day ...
I remember some extremes.?ÿ The year I got my BB gun I went out in shirt sleeves to play with it and was plenty warm (shot the whole tube of BBs before I came back in).
In 1983 or 84 we gathered on Christmas Eve at my brother's house, where they were working on a renovation so had minimal heat and a tarp for one piece of wall.?ÿ With temperatures of -20F and below and wind outside, it was cold in there. There were warnings to not drive if not essential.?ÿ We figured with two vehicles we would be ok, and left to go to the hometown so we could continue on to another relative's on Christmas day. We saw exactly 6 other vehicles on the road the whole 4-hour drive, more on interstate than smaller roads.?ÿ It got colder through the night and the wind picked up.
Dad's car started sputtering so he pulled over.?ÿ I got out to talk to him, with a parka cinched up and a muffler over my mouth, and could barely get my breath if I held my back to the wind.?ÿ His car recovered (must have melted some ice in the line) and we finished the trip safely.?ÿ Some people froze to death that night due to getting stranded. We didn't go to the other relative's house on Christmas.
Rainy Christmas day 🙁
