Any recommendations for a RESPONSIVE Trimble dealer?

I need to possibly rent a TSC2 and possibly purchase TBC, it has been a week and one e-mail contact followed by a phone call with my local dealer with no follow-up on pricing, I am ready to move on to a more responsive organization.

Bryon Baker at Frontier Precision is a friend of mine. I think he's in Peru at the moment and that they cover the Northern Midwest and Northern Rockie states but maybe they can point you in the right direction?

Hey Shelby,

How's it going?

Talk to Hugh Nelson at Geoline 425.425.2700. Tell him Doug Casement sent you.;-) I think they have an office in Tigard too.

He's a good guy and helped me a lot when I worked for companies that ran Trimble.

But seriously, your not getting away from Leica, are you?

Have a great day, I know I will,

Dugger

Not leaving Leica, this is for a client who owns Trimble gear and I need to do a bit of mixing and matching. The TSC2 is just so I can learn the basics of their gear before I consult with them on a control project.

EVS in Charlottesville, VA, has been real good to us, but I think these guys are all territory restricted.

I didn't realize that Trimble dealers were territorial, I will check out the Radar's recommendation, they are in the PNW.

Shelby: we are a Trimble dealer here in the Midwest. As was already pointed out....we have specific territories that we adhere to.

If you let me know, I could find out who your dealer is.

Mark,

I am still awaiting a response almost a week later from PSS. I initially e-mailed them last Tuesday, got a same day response that a different person would get me the quote, hasn't happened yet. I called a third person last Thursday, still waiting for a response. I have personally known ALL three of these individuals since the mid 1990's and they are nice guys, BUT if you can't support me in a timely manner, I am going to move on.

Since starting this thread this morning, I contacted Geoline at 09:35 and I have a quote at 09:57 from their Tigard office.

They seem a bit more interested in servicing their customers and will get my Trimble business.

Tom,

Thanks, I have contacted an alternate dealer in my area with a quote in hand already.
