Cut Xs, mag nails and shiners, mag nails in cracks, and ... a 9mm case from some non law abiding yahoo driving around shooting for fun... probably leftover from the 4th... unknown. dont care, and don't want to get anyones attention to where it is....no time for that...

You should be slapped forwards and backwards for putting a mag nail in a crack.  Just my opinion.

You could probably see the "pink circle' around that disk from the ISS.

I agree, and feel pretty much the same about crosscuts. But I've got to admit that crosscut is very well done.

refer to Paden's 'Old crusties' post....I'm just making sure some other idiot(likely me again next time) doesn't lose it when it's buried in snow, dirt, 9mm shells, and or piles of used condoms from the adjacent park when it rains and overflows the low flow line....

someone had been adding crossed and mag nails to the previous called ties....

@not-my-real-name

No kidding.  The bossman should do something about Jitterboogie looking like a hobo rolling around with his truck.

easy there Boyz

I'm paid well, and have great fringes like a garden at the office, frequent lunch and learns and the patience of a license helping me get there too.

the boots are just super comfy, and I haven't found a better pair to replace them.  most boots are over priced and crap  built.

carry on, you knuckleheads.

@jitterboogie your boots have character thats it lol. I alway get a hole at the ball of my right foot and the left toe is where the hole in my boots always hit. I have worn the same style for years and they always fail in the same spots. I am trying a different model this go around but not as comfortable and will be returning to my model soon. Covid had my old ones in limbo and i had to have a new pair. When my sock gets a hole in them the wife sais go buy a pair of new boots you cheap skate.

@jitterboogie I find myself in the same spot with boots!  I have a super comfortable pair that I've had since 2014.  I have a matching composite toe version as well that I bought at the same time.  I'm less than 50/50 field/office these days so I haven't really needed to find a new pair.  I briefly looked for some and nothing strikes me.

@jflamm

great minds think alike...

I've only done composite toes due to winter work and never looked back

last pair of a very popular brand the forest service uses but different model or product line, and they essentially sucked. at least they were free to me, paid for by the previous employer for the corporate safety plan... horrible toxic work environments generally provide lots of 'free' stuff under the guise of safety, team building and other obfuscation. the real benefits are in the people you work with and money and support don't hurt either.

I THRACed my own thread.  Divine Bovine, can we get a ruling on this please?

Anyway, I'm interested in hearing what you all do when you find spent shells on an urban survey site in less than ideal neighborhood areas.

@jitterboogie I live and work in the St. Louis Metro area.  Shell casings are as common as cigarette butts around here.

@jitterboogie

I would but I'm thinking this might be the thread that started out on Alzheimer's and then went to statistics then to something else, so maybe this is that one.  Oh, wait.  This was about work boots then switched to showing nails found.  Did I do that?  Maybe the nails were being used to toenail something and work boots contain toe nails.
