Wendell

I filled in the survey, but it wouldn't allow me to not enter anything in the "Own Business" field. I first tried to enter a "0", but it wouldn't accept that so I put the lowest allowable (10). Just wasn't sure what to put there since I have not started a business.

I had the same problem, so I put a 1 in. Wendell, why so many mandatory fields anyway?? How about name and experience total as the only mandatory fields and let the rest be optional.

Sorry, guys. That form system is new to me. I went in and fixed a few things, it should work better now. I fixed Richard's and Andy's submissions according to their posts above. Paul, I'm not sure exactly which field you mean because you have "35" entered into the "own business" field, but above you said you entered "1" (which wouldn't be accepted anyway).

If you revisit the form, you should be able to view/edit your previous submission. If not, and you can see the form, you may have to fill it out again (my apologies in advance).

Well, it wasnt the same field actually..My point is that not everyone enjoys mandatory fields..we deal with too much of that (mandatory) on a daily basis.

The form worked great for me but how about a SIT (for those of us not yet licensed) check box.

You do mean employERs, not employEES?

You have Bachelors and Doctorate, but not Masters!

No Canadian provinces or Australian states!

I was wondering if it was employers or emplyees too so I put the amount that I have worked for. I also noticed the lack of non-American licensing, but figured those persons would just put where in the comments field.

Yes, it's intended to be the number of employers you have worked for. I've updated the form accordingly.

I know, I thought of that, but I threw this together in short order. This is the first of its kind, so we'll see how it goes and then I can develop some follow-up surveys. 🙂

Surveying Experience Survey - Wendell

Is it at all possible to have a running post that shows the information people are filling in that updates just after one hits the submit key on the form you cooked up?

We all like watching a post grow 🙂

Maybe just a sticky that is locked from new posts, or not even locked, but added to as one fills in the form.

Just a thought

Wendell, I cannot log in to the survey yet I'm logged in to the forum. Is there a separate login needed?
