Might work if they had it surveyed and staked out by a surveyor at the time of construction AND the contractor did exactly as he was told by that surveyor.?ÿ Each half built absolutely separate from the other half, including utility lines.

I cut a restaurant/saw shop building into two pieces once.?ÿ Sorta north from the south property line, then sorta north down the center of a wall, then sorta west down the center of a wall, then sorta north again down the center of a wall, then sorta west down the center of a wall, then sorta west to the west property line.?ÿ That was the restaurant side.?ÿ The parents left the property to their two kids.?ÿ One ran the restaurant and the other ran the saw shop.?ÿ Both eventually sold to the same buyer, so all was good again.

Cheap really isn't an option

"Cheap" is a subjective term that may have entirely different meanings on each side of the table. The same is true for "good" and "fast".

True....plus a lot of times my price may be higher than my competitors, but comparison to them my cost is cheap.

Need to split a duplex in the old town central subdivision into two properties. They were constructed so that they were divided along a lot line. Don't have much money to pay for it and need it in a hurry.

What do they need you for? Sounds like they were already constructed on two lots.?ÿ?ÿ

And if the lot exists, there is no mystery where the boundary is. A Duplex is a pretty big monument.
