Need to split a duplex in the old town central subdivision into two properties. They were constructed so that they were divided along a lot line. Don't have much money to pay for it and need it in a hurry.
Yippee!
Might work if they had it surveyed and staked out by a surveyor at the time of construction AND the contractor did exactly as he was told by that surveyor.?ÿ Each half built absolutely separate from the other half, including utility lines.
I cut a restaurant/saw shop building into two pieces once.?ÿ Sorta north from the south property line, then sorta north down the center of a wall, then sorta west down the center of a wall, then sorta north again down the center of a wall, then sorta west down the center of a wall, then sorta west to the west property line.?ÿ That was the restaurant side.?ÿ The parents left the property to their two kids.?ÿ One ran the restaurant and the other ran the saw shop.?ÿ Both eventually sold to the same buyer, so all was good again.
More or mess??.. er?? less is your friend!!
But you do need to know which side was built first.?ÿ
Can??t do it for 6 months. ?ÿNext
I am very expensive.
But I am pretty slow.
Ten four. ?ÿI understand.
Thanks for the follow up.
All the best to you.

Wow, either business is really good, or you just don't want to mess with the small stuff.

I want to make sure I understand; you are saying it takes 2 to 3 months to survey a property. Is that correct?

Thanks for the email. ?ÿI will do my best to send you a written proposal estimating cost & timeframe by the end of the month 3/31.
?ÿ
The proposal will likely estimate about 2 to 3 months to do the work.
?ÿ
Thanks again,

I own the property at ??the town next door?, IN. We are looking at replacing some fencing on our property and want to verify the property lines. I have the original plat for the property when I purchased the house, but we would like to have it verified so as to not have any problems with neighbors. Please advise and thank you.

Cheap really isn't an option
"Cheap" is a subjective term that may have entirely different meanings on each side of the table. The same is true for "good" and "fast".

What do they need you for? Sounds like they were already constructed on two lots.?ÿ?ÿ
And if the lot exists, there is no mystery where the boundary is. A Duplex is a pretty big monument.
