End of 2013 survey season for myself....here's some clips I cleaned of the hard drive and added a couple tunes...adjust volume accordingly. It was a good season with a lot of variety. Definitely not a grindstone.
Very nice, as usual!
Hi Daryl,
the tunes do fit very well with the images.
enjoy your holidays!
Christof.
Outstanding Daryl! Makes me want to tag along for the adventure!
Thanks man.
Thank you for sharing! Appreciated by all I'm sure.
Jeff
Always count on Daryl to deliver.....:-D
I keep asking, but you never tell; must be you want to keep it all to yourself...B-)
How much do you have to pay them, to let you do this kind of work?;-)
A while back, there was a feller on here grousing about being a surveyor; something about; was it really worth it?
His question was, "Would you recommend to a High School kid, that they might want to be a surveyor?"
If you get a chance, show them that video and then say, "If you EVER have the opportunity to ride along with a guy like Daryl Moistner, JUMP ON IT!"
Cheers,
Dugger
Once again, thanks.
I really like the last pic -
Ken

I pay them in Blood Sweat and Tears and Beers at Seatacs departure lounge for the permission of the honor of coming to work

Thanks Guys...Thanks Doug...I remember reading that post several times trying to assess it...and come to figure its just attitude in what ever job... that makes it a grindstone or not. I have recommended this career to many kids ...its just one notch below or on PAR with being an Explorer. Its part Cowboy, part Mountain Man, part Star Trek as far as the related occupations.

I scratched my head as well...

I feel sorry for people that don't like their job; it's got to suck, waking up every morning and hating what you are about to go do....

I had the pleasure of hosting a table, for the LSAW, at a high school career day a few weeks ago; 3,400 students showed up and got some hands on with a lot of different trades. It was a lot of fun, a lot of kids showed a big interest in surveying, maybe next year I'll borrow your video...as an added incentive 😀
Aw, to hell with all that photographic nonsense, just list the music score. 😉
Casting the fishing rod while the rotors are turning nearby...I don't know..
As always very entertaining. Thanks for sharing Daryl. Happy Thanksgiving to you
" I'm Shaken" ... .by Mr. Jack White .....and "Set me Free" by The Heavy...
This ol' Miss'ippi boy says "awesome!"B-)
BRAVO!
nice shot of atmospheric titillation in the final frame.
I don't know why I like to say titillation.
As usual, Daryl makes the Dos XX man (most interesting man in the world) look boring.
Daryl thanks for the adventures and you keep me adding to my bucket list. 😀
Pablo B-)
Awesome - Thanks for sharing.
Whats with the transformer? Did that thing really come down right next to you?
You've gotta watch Daryl, some of his special effects put Hollywood to shame.:-D
