The eternal struggle of file conversion...Could anyone help me.?ÿ I am taking over a project from another surveyor who worked for a construction company laying out a bunch of concrete structures and piping for a dam.?ÿ He made the files in C3D and I am able to open them, but everything he computed comes in as a rectangle and says AeccDbCogoPoint(AeccLand120) or something like that.

Do any of you have the capabilities and willingness to convert it into something I can see using Intellicad & Carlson Survey19??ÿ I would owe you $5. 😉 ?ÿ
feel your pain.?ÿ while this may not be a perfect solution (it's not), a lot of those things can be "exploded" by converting back using this: https://www.autodesk.com/products/dwg
trueview has saved me countless hours trying to flush out all that embedded object baloney.?ÿ still have to have the file supplier help me out here and there, but for the most part those days are gone.

Have you tried File/Import/Civil3D? It's worked pretty well for me in Carlson Survey 19/Intellicad.
