Who's still working? I probably have a couple hours left in the office today.

Hope you have a great Thanksgiving. If you are travelling, be safe. Watch out for exploding turkey fryers. I know I'm going to enjoy the time off.

And... Go Cowboys!

?ÿ

AN

FWIW, I've got two 14 lb turkeys brining right now. We're doing lunch meal at 1:00p this year so the frying will commence around 11:30 tomorrow morning.

Thinking about closing shop in a bit and making a couple of pumpkin pies.?ÿ The wife, dog and myself are headed over to my Mom's for T dinner in the morning.?ÿ Just a small group but my brother that I have not seen in a year or so will be there.?ÿ Should be a lot of wine and scotch consumed, maybe a little turkey as well.

Wendell, how big of a bird and how long on the smoker??ÿ I'm thinking of doing one when the kids are home for Christmas.

I'm thankful I'm not a turkey, or at lease an edible one.

The turkey I bought is 13.65 pounds, and I'll be smoking it at 225 degrees for probably at least 6 hours using apple wood. I'll throw in the sweet potatoes and russet potatoes about 2-3 hours before the turkey is done.

I had originally thought about smoking some mac 'n cheese too, but I'm not going to do that after all.

FWIW, I have an electric smoker.

I'm at the office reformatting a Win 10 drive on one of our computers then installing Win 7 pro back on it. The "automatic" updates graciously provided by Microsoft for Win 10 have totally wrecked two of our office computers. Happy Thanksgiving Bill Gates.

And a real HAPPY THANKSGIVING! to y'all.?ÿ ??ÿ

You be safe going home.?ÿ A little delay in the meal is nothing compared to your safety.

After looking at the traffic map for FL and southern GA, I-75. I-95, I-10, and I-4 are all green, no slowdowns anywhere. Sunday is going to be a different story.?ÿ ??ÿ

We had dinner at the community gathering in the small town where my sister lives.?ÿ Attendance over 150.?ÿ Freewill donation and potluck.?ÿ They provide turkey and ham. Far too many salads and desserts to sample.
