I just confirmed our good friend Norm Larson (@norm-larson) passed away last week from a heart attach. Prayers and best wishes go out to all of friends and family.

OH MAN! I hate hearing this. RIP Norm.
That's terrible news. God bless his family and friends.
He'll be missed for sure.?ÿ?ÿ
Oh, that is sad.
Terrible news indeed.
Wow.?ÿ He will be missed around here for sure.?ÿ Always enjoyed his posts over the years.
Bummer. I enjoyed Norm's creations and think of him often. https://www.shapeways.com/designer/norml
I have not had occasion to survey along or with Norm but as the LSAW will say, Norm ran a straight line.?ÿ
🙁
Sorry to hear this.
This is terrible. Norm was a really super-cool guy and it hurts to read this. I remember meeting with him in downtown Portland, where he brought a bunch of his 3D printed models -- the man was talented. He had fully-operational model cars, mini surveying instruments, and a bunch of other stuff. I'll miss his occasional posts with new 3D printed surveying goodies. 🙁
RIP Norm

Sad, RIP Norm.
Without knowing, or trying, he was one of the main reasons I went with a parani setup on my first robot. Success was easy with the guidance on this forum and its solid contributors. Rest in Peace.
I'm stunned and saddened.?ÿ He was such a creative guy.?ÿ How old was he?
Very sad news.
Through this Forum, I contacted Norm about 4 years ago, and he kindly made me a couple of his 3D printed power packs for the Trimble 5600 active prism, and shipped them out to me in here in the SW Pacific. A friend and Gentleman.
Very sad, heart attack!!!!
