Some people should not be allowed to name their own children.

Another example of this appeared in a local paper a few days ago. They have a common feature called New Names in the News. Parents can submit information about their newborn, including birth date and names of siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents and such.

The Adams family welcomed home little Warren Peace.

Probably related to Sarah Bellum and Ben Dover.

A fellow surveyor who also works as a substitute teacher told me he once had a kid in one of his classes named Nosmoking (Noz mo keen pronunciation) apparently named after a sign in the delivery waiting room. Go figure.

I worked with a guy in Iowa who claimed he had a cousin named "Ima".
His name was ORR.

Also new a female member of the LUTT family name "Donnas"

I agree (almost. First they should be allowed to name their own kids: they just shouldn't be allowed to procreate.

Geezer:-P

Didn't Ben Dover have a sister named Eileen? I read a book about her called Tragedy On The Cliff. Another good book is The Yellow River by I.P. Freely. If you like those you should check out Under The Grandstands by Seymour Butts.... I'll be here all night:drink:

I have a cousin with the first name Shanda. Growing up, I used to tell her she needed to marry a guy with the last name Leer.

Was in an airport one time waiting for my flight. They came on the intercom to page

Vonorrhea

The other names mentioned are silly. I even have a cousin who named her son Courage. But Vonorrhea? That's just way wrong.

A Boy named Sue....Johnny Cash..

Comes to mind. And look at the ending of the song. For years parents seem to be looking for names that will be one of a kind. I understand the mindset behind some of them. But, for the sheer joy of making a statement? The parents won't live with that name...the child will. To each his own I guess. It will however, for title searches make it a bit less difficult than the John Smith search....:) (all in light humor ya know).

I think I've posted this before, but anyway..

I went to High School with a kid named Peter Dix. With all the ribbing he received he just blew it off and was actually a cool guy.

Have a great weekend!

My high school class elected Richard Nibbler as president of the student body. There was no such person, but we got the paperwork taken care of and he won by a landslide.
