Javad has announced that it will no longer produce those color fold-outs we're all used to seeing in the industry rags.?ÿ Those must have cost a fortune, and although I sometimes looked through them I mostly just tore them out because they prevented the magazine pages from laying flat.
It looks like the new regime at Javad is making itself felt.
The accountants are going to run things now?
I am sure that his estate was divided among more members of his family that were interested in supporting his company.
Those advertising fold-outs sure got your attention and made the impact of the importance of his product very plain and simple.
To be honest, I hated getting one twice a month in the various publications.?ÿ One was enough.
I hope the savings will be applied to a functional users manual.
Too soon?
JA, PLS, Socal
Javad actually made this decision before his passing.?ÿ
To be totally honest, those magazine inserts actually kept me from even considering Javad for years because the early ones were so lame. My reasoning was, "how could a company with such lousy advertising make a great product?" I was wrong, and we love our Javad units, and recently the lameness of those inserts disappeared and they became great sources of very useful information. Live and learn.....
Time to collect those multi-page ads of Javad. I have always thought their boxy designs are a bit unconventional.
Those javad ads will sell for 25 bucks on eBay, when I'm 90!
🙂
