Finally the little envelope arrived informing me I passed the California PLS exam. Right on time as predicted by the California Board, but one heck of a long time to sweat it out.:-S I must commend the exam writer's on this one, because it was a very well written, thorough exam that covered a great amount of topics, laws and fundamentals.:good:
Congratulations, Jered.
Will M&S be opening a Sacramento office?

Congratulations, Jered, from the Colonial States.
Time for another Beer Leg gathering. Wish I could be there.

Mark,
No desires to open a shop there or anywhere in Cali for that matter. (At least not that I've been told anyways.)
Well done!
How do these rumors get started?
Jared,
Welcome to a fine group.
geezer:-)
Congratulations. I think that passing that exam is an accomplishment to be very proud of. Many kudos Jered! Best of luck to you in your career
After being unsuccessfull in 2010 I decided that the great state of California doesn't need me (or is it my self esteem couldn't handle the potential rejection?), so I did not re-take it this year. Besides, I've got enough liability here in my own back yard.

I AGREE!! We must celebrate Jereds fine achievement.
We should find out when Daryl is coming home and when Keith is around and see if we could coordinate it all together and have a get-together. Grant, wish you were here too!! You and your wife were lovely folks to hang around for the night like we did. 🙂
I heard from another surveyor that of 334 Tested 72 Passed.
Good Job, congratulations!

Congratulations.
If you can pass CA, you can probably pass any state!
I agree on your assessment of the exam, my thoughts were exactly the same in 1992 when I passed, I wouldn't say 'hard" is the right word, BUT extremely though, you need a broad based background to pass CA.
Again, great job!

Sounds about right, I think CA runs between about 10%-20%, never a super high % that pass on any given exam cycle, I think the year I passed was toward the lower end, IIRC, 7%.

I remember getting mine back in 1990. It was nice.
Congratulations.
"If you can pass CA, you can probably pass any state!"
"If you can make it there, you can make it anywhere."
Seriously, it couldn't be that bad or I never would have passed it.
Congratulations,
Don
