I am DFW-based and new to surveying. I am currently working with a Trimble S5 robot, although I am still learning how to use it properly. I also acquired a Trimble R980 with a TSC7 this year.

A lot of the work I want to do is community-based and self-initiated. Since I am not licensed, I am careful not to present my work as boundary surveying, but I am very interested in mapping large parts of DFW, organizing field data, and helping regenerate historic maps that are no longer easily available in hard copy.

I have a deep interest in data, mapping, and fieldwork. My family has been in construction and related industries for a long time, but not directly in surveying, so this has been a new and exciting path for me. This has honestly been one of the best years of my life, and I am excited to keep learning everything I can about survey fieldwork while working toward eventual RPLS licensure in Texas.
