Sorry everyone. Since we've not been working with PLSO this year (due to a change of Executive Secretary), this year's PLSO Conference snuck up on us. Seems that it is running from today through Friday.

Thursday night would likely be the best time for a BeerLegger, since tonight is not possible for us and Friday will likely mean many folks are driving back home. We don't really have any plans but we could just have an impromptu meeting in downtown Salem. There's a new place called Archive Coffee & Bar right down the street from the Conference Center, so that seems like a good choice, or there's also Venti's Basement Bar.

Here's a map of all three: http://www.mapcustomizer.com/map/PLSO

I'm leaning toward Archive for the location and 6pm for the time. What do you think? Anyone interested?

UPDATE

So far, I'm tentatively planning on Thursday 7pm at Archive.

There are no formal plans, reservations, etc. However, these plans may change.

Please be sure to post photos. It is nice to confirm that maybe there are actual human beans at the other end of this line.

Oh bummer, I didn't see that on the schedule on the website. We could always make it a little later, like 7ish and then just show up when you can.

We could also try Friday, but I suspect it would be even harder to get much attendance. Heck, we could just plan on both nights. 🙂

We have plenty of time to plan the Beerlegger at the LSAW conference in March. Professor Stahl will be there too!

Plus it's in Tri-cities, so it will be close to the Oregonians too.:-D

> Always with the LEFT coast and never with us colonial artifacts on the RIGHT coast! LOL
While we didn't get together for beers I did manage to personally meet and speak with several SurveyorConnect-ers:

Jared McGrath was the organizing committee chair. Thanks Jared!
Daryl Moistner
Paul Landau
Kevin Samuel
Scott Freshwaters
Shelby Griggs

I'm sure I'm missing others. There are a number who lurk and post irregularly.

Micheal Dennis, developer of the Oregon and Iowa LDPs and seminar speaker, was aware of the discussions on SurveyorConnect and the opinion of a particular Texan regarding his creations.
