There are all sorts of things sitting around that are no longer used.

My plotter.

I email everything to a printing company. Even my reports. I barely use my printer. Even my invoicing is through email.

Acu-Arc, compass and Quad Map scale. I still use a Plumb Bob, Hand Level, HP41C and Compass.

I hate using these for plans. 95% complete and you discover you have a typo error in your spelling. ????

Me Too. I don't use me anymore, but I like having some old **** around. Can't bear to get rid of it.

Before the days of CAD, my wife was a drafter and has incredible penmanship .  She used to give me crap about using a Leroy machine.  Let's just say lettering was not my strong point in the survey world. 

When I went out on my own, I would use her to fix the inevitable typo on CAD produced photo mylar. The guy at the county always commented on how you could not tell where the edits were.

I saw some once that were long magnets to help hold down objects on a truck hood or tailgate.

I forgot about the Acu-Arc. I used one of those a lot back in the hand drafting days.

Oh, you misunderstand, ever since the world went mad a few weeks ago my phone has went silent.

I will likely have to start taking my clothes off for money before long.

I'm beginning to think that nothing in my office will ever be used again - at least not by me. I'm beginning to think that retirement may come sooner than planned. All the travel I had planned will just be a memory unless there is a radical increase in the market. The new travel plans will probably consist of a great deal of walking/hiking, assuming that will not be prohibited. 🙁 ?ÿ
