You neglected to mention your phenomenal experiences as a pilot. 🙂
With Jerry Davis at 79 we now have two over 75 and two under 25. Anyone else?

I am at Sacramento, CA right now attending the celebration of the 60 year from first U-2 flight in August 1955. To date less than 1000 have flown the bird. The count now is in the 990 range. My pilot number in the U-2 is #199. Went to Beal Air Force Base yesterday, that is the home of the U-2 operation. They put on a real good feed for us and gave us as loose of a halter that they could to let us roam all over the operation building and took us the flight line to let us crawl all over the latest version. It is waaaaay different from my days in the bird. April 26 this year was my 50th year since my first flight in the bird.
Will be leaving here tomorrow for a reunion of the 310th Bomb Wing, will be at Dayton can see a lot of history in the Air Force Museum there. I flew the B-47 Stratojet from January 1960 till late January 1965, at Schilling AFB, Salina Kansas. When the base closed I went to Tuscon for my stint in the U-2 Program.
51 While I can still say it!
