Wow. Just wow. I hope that's not an area that gets snow and ice. Pointed roofs suggest otherwise though.
Must be photoshopped...no way could a vehicle not get hung up at the top going in to the garage, never mind all the other issues.
Back in the early 90's, the company I worked for constructed a cul-de-sac in a new development. A designer, is his infinite "wisdom" let software do the design. A HUGE mechadum cone (about 5 Feet tall, about the same around) wound up in the middle of the cul-de-sac. As part of the field crew who were sent to asbuilt this goofy looking cone about 5 times, I seriously was wondering out loud why nobody from the office could get off their rear end to actually look at it.
As to peaked vs flat roofs, here, in and around the "city" of Baltimore, flat tar roofs are very common. We do have heavy rain and every few years lots of snow. Flat roof (I can only assume) are less expensive to build because they certainly do not work well here.....
This went around several years ago. Here is a link to the previous post https://surveyorconnect.com/index.php?mode=thread&id=221837#p221884 . You can see it on GoogleMaps so I'm guessing it is legitimate. It amazes me what gets by the plan reviewers and inspectors.
Here is another one. Yet another one
Okay, My link are an epic fail. The original post was last year under construction/mining as "Really Steep Driveways -- Location unknown".

I've seen this before. It's not any different than some of the streets people drive and park on in San Francisco, CA.
Marvelous what you can do with software whether accidental or deliberate... Be interesting to know percentage of altered photos on say FB .
Thanks for the memories…
When I lived in Fayetteville an in the early 80s, We ( my late first wife and myself) bought a house on the south side of Mt Sequoyah in town while we worked and went to the university.
It had been a rental house for years and it was not kept up. A real fixer upper as they say but it had a very nice setting and view. Some days one could see all the way to Oklahoma. It was surrounded by woods and just up the mountain by foot was a historic civil war mansion.
It was the last house on the end of a gravel road ( S. Mashburn). The road had about a 15+% grade and a length of almost 700 ft. or more. It was very intimidating at times but our VWs and 1955 Chevy PU/ granny gear always made it home and to town.
When we finished living there and it was time to move back to LA., so we put the house up for sale. It sold pretty quickly and I was told that the city was going to pave the street with sidewalks etc. I could not imagine driving up and down on a concrete street in winter . By the looks on Google earth, they may have eased the grade in construction. Nice house and you can see some of the rock work we did, (terrace, terraced gardens etc. The current owner has continued the “fixing up”
