Let's see. Hmmmmm. I finished up a boundary family division, created an O&G unit, made RRC permit maps for another 6 units, checked FB and BeerLeg, answered 17 emails by noon, and just got back from going to the high school where my son was suspended Friday from being in a food fight. Other than the last, typical day. Damn my kid is a knucklehead!

Title Survey for refinance
Moderate size vacation rental house $1 mil. +/-
I did subdivision 12 years ago, so not too hard.
Lot averages about 70% grade though. Great view to Coral Bay and Drake Channel.
Couple renting the house had heavy metal blasting all day.

Yesterday, today, and tomorrow I'm doing a large rural survey, or more specifically, locating property corners in smaller towns to establish rail ROW. Thursday and Friday I'll be performing a topo survey for the same project.

Crew finished 40-acre tract of prime duckhunting land while I did more research for corners to do a section breakdown on a 130-acre survey. After lunch, stayed with crew digging up monuments and setting corners. Digging the four corners in asphalt was tough, but, not as tough as digging the other four in dry, very compacted, crushed limestone roadbeds. Landed another 6-acre boundary job where the client wants it done before Friday as that is when he leaves to return home to Arizona. Had to tell him that wouldn't happen, but, that I would meet with him to make certain of his exact plans. Will do that tomorrow on my way back to the landfill job from yesterday where I needed to take three shots and the gun battery was dead.

Just enjoying being a semi retired surveyor. I basically take only projects I like when I want to.

Giving Dublin8300 a flashlight and telling him that if he uses it and both hands he MIGHT be able to find his butt now that he finally passed a PLS exam. He didn't find it on the first try. It was late. I had to go. I think he is still trying. Suppose I'll have to give him a map tomorrow.

I'm sitting at the anchorage airport on weather hold out to Dillingham. If I get out there I'll be running some digital levels for a tank farm monitoring project. In and out in a day...I hope.

Tank Farming eh? That's my kind of farming, though I'm sure the tanks I'm familiar with are much smaller that the AK sized ones.
