I haven't posted for a while but I thought I would post an update on my new job. I know several friends and colleagues visit this site. I accepted a supervisory land surveyor position with the Bonneville Power Administration in Vancouver, WA. I start the middle of August. I still have a lot of cleaning and sorting of all the business records and equipment to do. I plan to hang on to the survey equipment and computer programs for now, but will be putting the work truck up for sale so I don't have to keep up with its maintenance and insurance. I still plan to give seminars and finally write some survey law books, and maybe some consulting. I hope to have enough time to become more active in the Oregon & Washington Land Surveyors Associations.

It's quite a change from the small business model and Klamath Falls but I know you will do well.

Congratulations!!!

I saw that posting and it looked like a fun challenge.

Welcome to the "neighborhood" here at the other end of the state!

I heard not to long ago that Roger Green and his wife Kathy moved just
north of the Columbia when he retired from federal service.

Some beautiful country on that side of the Columbia to enjoy!

Look foward your continued and increased involvement in local surveying
matters up this way.

Best regards, and best wishes!
