That's using critical thinking. There should be a way to create a textbook exercise that illustrates it.

I used to love lot and house stakeouts that had a pile of crap in the middle of where the house is going to be. All the stakeouts were rush jobs so we would stake it only to re-stake (at the same price) a week later. We did it hundreds of times while in Business. ?????ÿ

Haha!

I followed a chief in my first survey gig. Apparently something similar to this happened.

but there was lots of crap, pallets, car frames, tons of debris everywhere.

he just walked along and placed the stakes with whatever was required from the drawing, that he was handed, into the ground, next to, into, and through pallets and refused to move one thing.

Literally placed stakes through bags of garbage, and probably would have staked a couple of dead bodies in the same fashion he was in that bad of a mood.

He said " If they wanted the stake the ground, they should have cleared the ground first"!

so I keep that in the back of my mind for the day that I want to do that to someone that deserves it!

?ÿ

thanks for waking up that memory that is so funny!!!!
