I received these photos half a dozen years ago. They were in a forwarded e-mail with no explanation.
I don't know where this site is, or what happened. I can't even be sure the photos are real, although it would be a tough job to fake four images like this, with all the detail they contain.
Can anyone shed any light on this?

looked flat on paper
Those were posted on the old POB site years ago. I can't remember if they were real or not.

They are still steep.
In my younger days I would have put my skate board ramp at the bottom and tried my best Bones Brigade moves (probably would have broken a few more bones in the process).
Thanks to Joe-Nathan, a quick Google search to that address would lead one to believe that a bit of photoshopology occurred.
Cheers,

I'd have to leave the State to find a potential spot for something like that.

and thanks to google street view and can armchair quarterback my response.
In the construction picture the sidewalk is much further back from the curb than in the street view. The opposite side of the street has the sidewalk set back at the distance in the construction photos as seen in street view. Looks like the sidewalk was changed after those pictures were taken to reduce the slope of the Drive.
Looks to be the same spot though and those houses are pretty high above the street grade.

Thanks to all. As usual, it doesn't take long to find something out on this board.
I can see how elevations could get fouled up this way on a design drawing, given an inexperienced CAD operator, a tight deadline, and a hasty check. I'm not quite so clear on why a crew would stake houses without checking the driveway grades. We'll probably never know.
Anyone care to guess what the gradient is in percent of those driveways ?
The steepest i come across are 28 %
