I posted some of these before on Facebook but thought my surveyor connect buddies might like to see them. Spent a few weeks working on the Air strip realignment http://www.nevadasurveyor.com/pt_hope/&apos ;">job in Point Hope...

Thanks as always for the beautiful shots Daryl. A special thanks for the old ones from "back in the day" - can't wait to show a few of them to the new guys that think the GR8's are "heavy"!

So Daryl, in one of the photos is a "internet in a suitcase". Can you tell a bit more about that? That looks like something my crew could use.

Ha...I was just in Wasilla...breakfast at the Wind Break.
The internet in a suitcase was not mine but was being used by a geologist I encountered. So I don't have much info, sorry... I did ask him about it...the hookup to satellites was easy but the upload/download speeds were agonizingly slow he said. I think these things are pretty expensive as well.
