DDSM asked me to post this picture. He has the details. It is Nate's son, Big Help.

I had to shoot a section corner on State Street in Madison, WI. State Street is a pedestrian mall now and this photo was during their Maxwell Street Days event.

Call the concrete contractor and tell them to get it right. They ruined the symmetry of the expansion joint heading directly toward the state capitol building in the background by putting that big ole kick in it just past the second pot hole. OCD comments aside, Nice Picture.

Work related holiday pics... though I couldn't get work to subsidise the trip...
The story behind Poeppels Corner is a good read too. The heat of the Australian Sun caused some issues with the Chain he used...

What expansion joint?

My favorite so far is Big Help.

It's the second picture in the thread, State Street in Madison Wisconsin looking toward the Capital.

I was trying to be funny, there was too much other more interesting subjects to look at in the Madison photo beside concrete. 😉
