We are moving out of state and as I've been going through boxes of "stuff" in the attic to pitch or move I came across a box containing some old survey "stuff". "Evidence and Procedures for Boundary Location", "Boundary Control and Legal Principles", "The Pincushion Effect" and some other things. A surveying flipchart by Jack Keen which has almost every formula that surveyors need. A set of Koh-I-Nor pens, Leroy guides and stylus, triangles and scales, etc.
Now my dilemna. I can't find anyone to give them to. I've tried SAMSOG but have gotten no response. I've tried the local University where I received my degree 45+ years ago. Nobody wants them. I hate to throw them in the garbage but I am NOT going to move them.
If anyone knows a surveyor in the Marietta, Georgia area who would like them, let them know they're available for free.

Donate the books to your local Goodwill. They will eventually make it onto any of the various online used book stores. Much of my library is made up of books from such sources.
As for drafting pens and such, think artists, not engineers. That is who still uses these things.
These guys buy and sell used books. I haven't sold any here but bought quite a few titles over the years. Might be worth checking out to get books back into circulation.

Just because I'm paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get me.
These folks take all kinds of reading material...there's a story there for another time. 😎

I'd pay shipping and something for the time you take to pack them up and take them to a post office. I've got Brown's Boundary Control but not the others you list. For some reason I still collect (and sometimes even use) the old drafting paraphernalia. In planning - grading plans and some commercial master planning I get involved in - I usually start by breaking out the pens and colored pencils,
Auction them off here and the funds can go to help defray the costs of operating the site.
