Kinda quiet on the board about the upcoming CLSA/NALS 2012 Conference in Reno, NV.
It starts tomorrow and runs through Wed. I've been to the last couple NV Conferences and they're always top notch and a great bunch to have fun with.
I didn't sign up this year due to money issues, but still heading there because Reno is an awesome town and this is a great opportunity. Plus SWMBO has never been there, it's her birthday, and she wants to go. What is a mere male like myself supposed to do...lol
Maybe see some beerleggers there? Check the NV hospitality suite.... always fun
Reno is a great town... My caps are all over the place there...a lot of things to do in the surrounding areas...it sure has grown up though from the biggest little city...I actually lived in Virginia City... Got me outa the crazy. NALS is a great outfit, if'n I had planned a little better I wouldn't mind being there this week.
Heading over tomorrow, depending on snowfall I should be there around 3:00. It should be a good turnout.
If any of you have not had the distinct pleasure of meeting Frank and his wife, you are surely missing out (we met them at the PLSO Conference last week). The same goes for Ryan Versteeg and his wife, and they will also be there. I'm sure some other BeerLeggers will be checking it out, too.

I was hoping to show up on Saturday and Sunday to catch up with some good friends, but still waiting for that grand baby to show up. Lots of family stuff to attend this weekend instead. 🙁 or, is it 🙂 ? I really can't decide which.

It's this 🙂
They grow up quick, cherish every moment you get to spend with them.....
I will be there one day only, tomorrow (Monday). Dan Gregory and I are driving up early tomorrow morning. There is a little snow over the pass today but I don't think it will be a problem getting there. Stay over Monday night and return home Tuesday morning.
My theory is I will beat the idiotic SUV drivers who think they can go 90 on ice because "I have 4WD!"
I plan to attend Steve Parrish's day long seminar, "Surveying the Comstock."
