Starting a boundary survey. Pull the file out, my predecessors already got a bunch of maps.
One of them was done by a Civil Engineer named Boggus, I'm not kidding. It's a Boggus Survey. 😉
Funny, I'm actually in the process of buying a house from a lady named Boggus ...expect to close in a couple of weeks.
Perhaps related to Country singer Suzie Boggus.
Good one...
There was an engineer up here in Mass with the last name "Goodnough". I was walking along a dam at the Quabbin resevoir and there was a bronze placard for him at the start.

:-O
Goodnough reminds me of Goodnow. The Mr. Goodnow of which I speak was President of what is known today as Kansas State University, but way back in the 1800's. The correct pronounciation is Good-No. One of the campus dorms was named after him. It was strictly for females only. Many people mistakenly called it Good-Now Hall. From time to time some clever resident would put up a sign in the large window of her dorm room that read: Good Now, Better Latter.
I am kin to several people that spell their last name "Baugus" They probably all came over on the same ship.

Off topic, but your new avatar reminds me of reintarnation which is the belief that when you die, you'll come back as a hillbilly.:-)
Don
I've seen lots of Bogus surveys around here. But no Boggus surveys. Hopefully this Boggus character does decent work!
