I recently received notice that I passed the Certified Flood Plain Manager exam.
Most are Govt. employees, but I thought that it may give me a better understanding of the FEMA rules and regs.
After studying for 4 hours the main reference manual of appx. 800 pages and also taking a CFM continuing education class in May I passed with a score of 78%.
Not as well as I was hoping for, but a passing score none the less.
Scott

Congrats! I passed about 5 or 6 years ago and quickly realized that FEMA stuff wasn't my cup of tea and let it lapse. Hopefully, you'll find it more to your liking.
Congratulations Scott. Always good to have another arrow in the quiver.
And I’m real glad to see what your acronym for CFM stands for. There’s another CFM, short for “CMF shoes” that is commonly referred to CFMs as in “She’s waering her CMFs and is on the prowl” I’m glad to see that the title of your post isn’t an inquiry to find the other CMF <--NOTE: Link contains naughty words!
