The idea was to have a row of offices/stores/restaurants along the south line of the site, with gerrymandered lot lines running through the big parking lot to the main street on the north. Unfortunately: every legal description has at least one major typo (33å¡ should be 83å¡, or 00å¡ should be 06å¡); even considering that all of them misclose by feet; and most of them lack calls to land lines (pure bearing instead of along the west line of the block). And there are almost no interior monuments in the parking lot. This should be fun.
looks like a mess...
Ugh. Looks like a survey of the initial parent tract and then chasing the junior/senior rights of the tracts and "attempting" to lay them in with some symbolance of harmony.
Glad it's you and not me.
Looks like they picked the right man for the job...

B-)
That's the kind of stuff I send to my competitors. 😉
Can you provide Google map coordinates?
No boundary calls? No interior monumentation? All descriptions misclose?
Look at the bright side. [sarcasm]No matter what your conclusions are, no one will be able to prove you wrong.[/sarcasm]:-)

Believe me, I thought of that before getting involved. Read and analyze every description, document every conclusion, and let the chips fall where they may.

Oh! That didn't help. I count at least 20 locations where commercial buildings are probably built right up to the line. Good luck.
That looks like another metro nightmare.
Hopefully there have not been the dreaded superficial makeovers that cover the original building corners.
good luck
Looks like a perfect example of County regs creating a nightmare out of an otherwise simple task.
I remember surveying in that very messed up little property about 8 years ago. I think it was an Alta... Not a fun survey at all.
I hope you charged enough.
Howdy there, Mr. Okie Mike. Welcome to the liveliest board you'll ever find.
If the Deeds are objectively uncertain and there are buildings built right on the lines then the answer is fairly obvious.
If the going gets too tough, I spotted a beer pub and tattoo parlor in the SE corner of the strip mall.
Regarding the title of this thread.........Laurel and Hardy, right? Before my day.
