Brrr! I have wet waded thigh deep in weather not that cold or white, and was really glad to finish!

John, I did that one time about 40 years ago for a sewer outfall. Still get chills from it!

I have a pretty decent dry suit (getting a bit tight as I get older!). I have been in streams up to my neck in outside temps of 7°. The only thing that really gets cold are my hands, even though they are in waterproof gloves I can feel it.

I would have 'waded' until springtime to do that job. 🙃
