Well I thought my summer surveying season was well under way but now I'm back in Oregon for another week to wait on snow melt. A few photos.

Daryl,

Nice pic’s, as usual. Just out of curiosity, since you work at the North Pole have you ever met Santa Claus (and them little fellers that help him) yet? And when you are at home do you sleep in a chest freezer? 🙂

Have a great week, and keep the pictures coming!

FL/GA

I once knew someone who lived in a chest freezer in San Andreas, California. It was unplugged of course and was located in an alley behind a bar. The occupant was on leave from working fishing boats in Alaska. Crazy Bud was his name and he was actually able to pick up women and bring them "home."

The rest of us hanger-oners were always quite impressed.

Don

Edit: I can't believe I just posted that. Too much relaxation, I guess.

That looked like a pretty scary maneuver. The pilot must have nerves of steel in addition to incredible skill. I thought it was the moment just before a diving crash until I read the caption.
