Must be some bakery that needs that number of silos to keep it running.
Those sort of structures put a bit of relativity into size of things especially in a rural setting.

I like the first one of the guy on the railroad tracks.

Nice use of the ample space in the picture!

Am I the only one chuckling at the misspelling on that dollar bill?

and another vote for the clouds, robot, footprints.

There's so much to see in surveying (life) if you just find a second to witness it.

Always be wary of anyone who refers to their property as "The Compound"

2015 January WINNER

Thanks guys .... Look forward to posting some more.

There are some really good surveyors posting daily on instagram, some really cool shots. A lot of them are from Europe and Russia and south America. You would be surprised by how many of them are women. And you will be amazed how many old 80's and early 90's Topcons are still in use out there.

Check out these hashtags

#tsc3 #Trimble #gnss #landsurveying #leicageosystems #realsurveyors #surveylife #topografía #glonass #totalstation #robotictotalstation #geomatics #topcon #sokkia #construction

The guy who runs the account @surveylife and goes by the hashtag #surveylife , reposts really good photos from his about 7000 followers. They only repost really good , interesting shots.

Most of the photos are geotagged so you can see in Goggle earth were the photo was taken, so you get a glimpse of were all this survey work is happening all over the world, I am really fascinated by it. The number and size of the projects going on is really staggering, it is great to see how important surveying is still.

Anyway, give it a try, it has rekindled by love of photography again, I try and post daily, check it out at @slugsy100

REgards
