anybody found a program that will autosync over wifi such as dropbox? I want to be able to download my data while in the field. I have windows mobile 5/6 devices. TIA
I haven't looked recently, but you might have better luck with one drive (formerly skydrive), being as it's a Microsoft product.
I haven't seen a auto sync on Dropbox. Just a question what software are you running for the field work?
dropbox always autosyncs folders across devices, thats really what it does best, other than having a cloud backup.
i run TDS and Carlson and Trimble Access.
I know the survey pro after currently supports drop box but you do need the new version. But you have to send the info to drop box it's not an automatic thing that I know of.
I looked a while back, and there doesn't seem to be a Window's Mobile version of Dropbox. I had the same thought a while back, but couldn't make it work.
Survey Pro version 5.5.1 has a new cloud/sync feature built-in called Survey Central. It's new, and could use some improvements, but over all, I like it.
