I have a Topcon FC-5000 with the magnet field installed on it and I did the latest updates from topcons website. Now it will not let me overwrite existing points in the data collector. Is there a setting in the program that needs to be changed?

Latest updates Magnet 5 has a glitch in the program.?ÿ Some keys are greyed out in the keyboard and you are not allowed to manipulate measured points.?ÿ I discovered this fun fact when I tried to do a field rotation after the update.
The workaround is to export and reimport points so they are no longer measured points.?ÿ We bought a Trimble last week
Same reason I switched to Carlson's SurvCE when I ran Topcon equipment.?ÿ I got tired of being the beta tester in a production environment.
Lets not forget having your rod height get randomly changed while doing a topo. That was fun. As for the other issues Topcon knows about them. Believe me I have blown up their tech support line. The current fix is to start a new job.
In Survey Pro if you import points to the CONTROL layer they become uneditable.?ÿ Just sayin'.
I calmed my nerves,?ÿ soul, and mind when replaced this app with SurvCE.
