I recently purchased a TSC2 from ebay with SurvCE 5.01 installed.?ÿ GPS is enabled.?ÿ I can successfully connect to the NTRIP server, get a fix, etc.?ÿ When I try to collect data it gives me this message:?ÿ "Your software license is not valid in this location". Does anyone know what will cause this message?

Thanks,

-KS

Have you confirmed with Carlson that the serial number is valid?

If not, I would do so while you can still send it back.

A company may have sold the unit to you.

Carlson gives the company an opportunity to transfer the license for that unit to you.

If not, you must buy the license for it to work.

Side note--is that why some of the SurvCE registration shots now show "Worldwide" underneath the modules?

If you go to Survce.com there is a lookup table for supported data collectors.?ÿ The TSC2 appears to be supported only up thru Version 4.
