MAGNET point file not in sequential order when exported as text file. Is there a setting to correct that?

No. Magnet Field is a data collection software. The software reads and writes data in the order in which it was collected.
If you need the points sorted in a CSV format ot TXT, then I suggest you simply open it it Excel do it their.
I suggest you export RAW data, not a point file from Magnet Field. This way you will have all of the metadata, just in case..... Especially since your are in Florida where the board may very well request it for review. Then process the data through your Cogo Routine, and export a point file from there.
