I am using Carlson Survey 2016 OEM, and have a question. If I select objects, I would like to see how many objects are selected. I seem to have lost that option, or maybe I am remembering it from an earlier version.
I see how many objects are selected in my Carlson GIS 2017 with Intellicad. That may be what I am comparing it to.
Is there an option in the OEM version to see how many objects are selected?

What Bob said. Keep your properties box open.
Select everything you want, right click and select properties. At the top of the properties dialog box it tells you. You can even use a pull down there and change what you want, like polylines or whatever
