If any of you find this little "Glyph" in your AutoCAD drawing...

You have "constraints" on the objects you are hovering over. I have no idea what "Constraints" are good for, but these little demons have robbed me of several hours of productivity this week.

The command to remove constraints is, not surprisingly, DELCONSTRAINT.

Those darn things drove me crazy for a while. There is also a way to turn them off for good but I forgot what the command is. I did it in my template drawings and haven't seen them since.

I did some searching and found this:

Set variable CONSTRAINTINFER to 0

What I saw, that should turn them completely off until you turn them back on.
Apparently, you are in lots of company to be annoyed by them.

Thanks Norman. I had a drawing with those showing up. It drove me crazy. The dwg had other odd behavior too. If I selected a line and moved it via a grip, the cogo point on the end of the line would move with it.
