A friend uses Carlson Standalone 2014. He wants to draw an orthogonal line with a distance. I looked at it and the simple Line Command has a bunch of options. When you select direction by Cursor it does not honor the ORTHO.

I use the pl (pline) command all the time with F8 on and just pull the direction I want to go and type the distance with no problems. Line command doesn't necessarily like to work like this
